Dave Wraith is the owner of Hurstval Furniture, established in 2026. After enjoying a 20 year career as a countryside ranger, working on a variety of sites right across the UK, Dave decided to retrain as a fine furniture maker, attending the Chippendale International School of Furniture.

“I specialised in woodland management, coppicing, thinning and planting trees. I take inspiration from the natural world and like the thought of trees living on in the furniture I make.”
